Episode 5 - Phil’s Giant Meatlocker (A late game victory of the Eagles)
Greetings fellow meatheads!
WOW! That was a helluva game. Check out today’s episode of Phil’s Giant Meatlocker for my thoughts about this late game important victory over the Eagles, why Akers deserved his beat down, my brothers criticism of the play calling, the importance of chemistry, and my Mom’s words of meathead Giant Wisdom (now you’ll know where it comes from - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!).
Sure, like you, I was frustrated by the Giants inability to play well in the first half. By the 3rd quarter I must admit I was ready to give up . . . but Kim (my wonderful meathead wife) emplored me to have hope . . . How right she was! The Giants pulled together at the end of the game and played like . . . well Giants! This might be just what they needed to get them ready to go into Seattle and come out with a victory. GO BLUE!
Enjoy this episode and FIRE IT UP!
BTW - The awesome music you hear each week playing during the opening and closing of this podcast is a song called King Saul by Honey Child, my brothers band from when he lived in AZ and NC. They are awesome and you should check out their site. They still have copies of their last CD “Taller” for sale and I can’t recommend it highly enough (and no, not just becuase he is my brother . . . THEY ROCK!)
